Terms of Sales
PAYMENT TERMS
The standard terms of payment are Net 30 days from date of invoice unless otherwise stated. All past due accounts are subject to a finance charge of 1½% per month. Accounts that are 45 days past due automatically enter into “credit hold” and arrangements for payment will be made. If an account is placed for collection, all charges and expenses incurred, including attorney’s fees will be the responsibility of the customer.
PRICES/FREIGHT
All prices are quoted FOB shipping point unless otherwise noted. UNITED PARCEL SERVICE is the standard method of shipment. ASC reserves the right to adjust prices at any time due to potential increases in material costs without prior knowledge to its customers.
GENERAL
All orders are subject of acceptance by ASC. ASC is not liable for any default of delay beyond its control. The title of goods passes to the purchaser at the FOB point. Consignee is responsible for damage or loss claims against the transport company.
RETURNS
No goods may be returned without prior authorization by ASC. Contact Customer Service for a Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) number. Return authorization is valid for 30 days only. Products shipped in error will be accepted for return with full credit. Shipping discrepancies must be brought to the attention of ASC within 10 days of receipt of shipment. Standard products may be returned for credit only (no cash) within three months of date of invoice with a 20% restocking charge and freight cost. Returned products must be in original package, in new saleable condition and shipped freight prepaid. ASC reserves the right to determine acceptability of the returned goods for resale. Products made to order are not returnable.
CANCELLATIONS
Orders for elements built to order will be charged for any costs incurred to date. Contact engineering as soon as possible for cancellations.
